Legal & Compliance

Our Legal Identity

Verdant Global Nexus Ltd (ABN 50 685 587 722) is an Australian not-for-profit company limited by guarantee. We are committed to operating transparently and ethically in everything we do. Our application for registration as a charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) is currently pending. Once approved, this page will be updated with our official registration number and any relevant deductible gift recipient (DGR) details. If you have questions about our legal status or governance, please contact us at info@vgn.org.au .

Our Mission & Purpose

VGN exists to empower communities and organisations to accelerate positive, measurable, and regenerative change through collaboration, education, and innovation. We reinvest all funds directly into programs and initiatives that align with our charitable purpose.

Donations & Fundraising

Every contribution helps us expand community-led sustainability and inclusion projects. At this stage, donations to Verdant Global Nexus Ltd are not yet tax-deductible. Once we receive DGR endorsement from the Australian Taxation Office, we will clearly note this on donation pages and issue tax-deductible receipts. We manage all funds responsibly and transparently, ensuring donations are used for the intended purposes. If a project becomes oversubscribed or cannot proceed, we may redirect funds to similar initiatives that meet our mission goals. Refunds are generally not available for donations, but we will consider reasonable requests in good faith — please email finance@vgn.org.au if you need assistance.
